PRIVACY POLICY (RoofMetric)

1) Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how RoofMetric (“RoofMetric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information in connection with our websites, landing pages, forms, SMS/MMS, phone calls/voicemails (including recordings), emails, ads, and other services (collectively, the “Services”).
Ownership & Caller Identity. RoofMetric is owned and operated by Virra Marketing, Inc. (“Virra”). The phone numbers we use for outbound calls and SMS/MMS are registered with our messaging carriers (A2P/10DLC) to Virra Marketing, Inc. and are used in connection with TCPA compliance.

2) Scope & audience
This Policy applies to consumers in the United States and, where noted, to individuals in jurisdictions with specific rights (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Nevada, EEA/UK).
3) Information we collect
A. You provide:
• Contact & identity: first/last name, email, phone, homeowner status, address (street, city, state, ZIP), project details (e.g., repair/replacement needs, timing, budget).
• Consent artifacts: checkboxes/affirmative acts, signature/typed name, timestamp, page/session info, consent versions, TCPA/E‑SIGN acknowledgments.
• Communications: your messages, recordings/transcripts of calls (where permitted by law), SMS/MMS content, email replies, support interactions.
• Scheduling: preferred dates/times, time zone, booking confirmations.
B. Automatic/derived data:
• Device & usage: IP address, user agent, referrer, pages visited, time on page, clicks, session IDs, approximate geolocation, identifiers/cookies (including ad IDs/pixels).
• Marketing parameters: UTM source/medium/campaign/content/term, GCLID, FBCLID, other attribution tags.
• Anti‑fraud & deliverability: traffic patterns, blocklists, litigator/DNC scrub outcomes, phone/email verification results.
C. From third parties:
• Consent verification/certificates (e.g., TrustedForm by ActiveProspect; LeadiD/Jornaya).
• Validation services (e.g., phone/email hygiene, DNC/litigator scrubs).
• Advertising/analytics platforms (e.g., Google, Meta), data enrichment (where permitted).
4) How we use information
We use information to:
• Provide Services: match you with one or more relevant roofing companies or other home‑service providers; generate/forward inquiries; facilitate quotes, scheduling, and follow‑ups.
• Communicate & market: call, text, or email you (including via autodialer/prerecorded messages) about your inquiry and related offers; send reminders and confirmations; run ads and retargeting; perform A/B tests.
• Compliance & security: document consent; prevent fraud/abuse; manage DNC and opt‑outs; maintain records; comply with law and enforce Terms.
• Analytics & improvement: measure performance, improve UX, debug, and develop new features.
• Corporate transactions: support merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
Legal bases (EEA/UK): consent, contract necessity, legitimate interests (e.g., matching, security, analytics), and legal obligation.
5) How we share/disclose information
We may disclose or “sell”/“share” (as defined by applicable law) personal information with:
• Service providers & processors (hosting, communication, analytics, consent verification, fraud prevention).
• Home‑service providers, contractors, and partners (including multiple providers) to evaluate your project, provide quotes, schedule appointments, and offer related services.
• Advertising/marketing partners for measurement, cross‑context behavioral advertising/targeted advertising.

• Legal/compliance recipients: regulators, law enforcement, or to protect rights and safety.
Where law requires, we contractually restrict service providers’ use of data and honor opt‑out rights for “sale”/“share” and targeted advertising.
6) TCPA & E‑SIGN consent (summary)
If you submit a form or otherwise provide your number/email, you agree that RoofMetric and one or more of our partners may contact you at the phone number(s) and email(s) you provide, including via autodialed calls, prerecorded/AI‑generated voice, and SMS/MMS, regarding your inquiry and related offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message/data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP (HELP for help); you can revoke phone consent by contacting us and the partner(s). Calls/texts may be recorded or monitored where permitted. Calls and texts may originate from numbers registered (A2P/10DLC) to Virra Marketing, Inc.
We use E‑SIGN to obtain/record your consent electronically; you consent to receive records electronically and to use electronic signatures. You may withdraw E‑SIGN consent or request paper copies by contacting info@roofmetric.us (processing time may apply).
7) Your choices
• Email: unsubscribe link in messages or contact us.
• SMS: reply STOP to end; HELP for help.
• Calls: tell the caller to place you on their internal Do Not Call list; contact us to update preferences.
• Cookies/ads: use our cookie banner/settings; browser controls; platform preferences (Google/Meta, etc.); opt‑out links below.
• “Do Not Sell or Share” / Targeted Ads: (California/CPRA and similar states) use our “Your Privacy Choices” link to opt out of sale/share/targeted advertising.
8) Your privacy rights
Depending on your state/country, you may have the right to access, delete, correct, opt‑out of sale/share/targeted ads, limit use of sensitive information, portability, and appeal denials.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know/delete/correct; opt‑out of sale/share; limit use of sensitive data; non‑discrimination; authorized agent; verification steps apply.
• VA/CO/CT/UT/NV: similar rights including targeted advertising opt‑out.
• EEA/UK: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection; lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9) Data retention
We keep information as needed for the purposes above, including records of consent, lead/audit logs, dispute defense, and legal obligations. Typical retention ranges from 24–48 months (or longer where legally required or for ongoing claims).
10) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure.
11) Children
The Services are intended for individuals 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12) International transfers
If you’re outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to the U.S. and processed under U.S. law. For EEA/UK users, we may use SCCs or other transfer mechanisms where required.
13) Third‑party links and sites
We’re not responsible for the privacy/security of third‑party sites, providers, or platforms we link to or embed.
14) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” will reflect the latest version.
